When your stomach and mind are calling for seafood, head to Fish N Grill in Fredericksburg, Va. The location is great just off Courthouse Road. There is ample parking shared with other small businesses and a larger parking lot to the rear if needed. The staff is wonderful and very very accommodating. Now let’s talk food. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. The food is cooked with love. Whether you choose fried or grilled seafood, the taste and satisfaction is there. Some of my favorites are the Fried Croaker, Flounder, Shrimp, Oysters. The Cod is perfection! The clam chowder is simply delish. I often enjoy starting my meal with their steamed crab legs — very delightful. And if you’re not in the mood for seafood, their fried chicken packs a real punch. Someone’s grandma is definitely in the kitchen. Side dishes are also prepared with heart. My favorite is the potato salad, Mac n cheese and collards. Desserts are also top tier. I ordered one of the seafood plates, can’t remember the name. It had fried flounder, 6 shrimp, a crab cake with hush puppies, a side of collards and yams. The sides to me were so freaking good. The seafood was okay, fried beautifully; however, it all lacked some flavor. The meal okay and the service was outstanding. My friend ordered the grilled salmon and she said everything was awesome.

Stopped in for a quick bite, the food was good, my wife LOVED the Mac and cheese, the shrimp tacos were very good. We will def be back. 😁👍🏼Just had the strawberry cake.. OMGGGGGG!! Amazing, def recommend it.. 😁👍🏼👍🏼 Went back today with my family, food was just as good as our first time. 😁💪🏼👍🏼

Our service was awesome! Everyone we talked to was very cheerful, the atmosphere was clean and inviting. The music was not too loud and upbeat. We observed a bachelorette dinner grouping and in a separate room and a baby shower was taking place but none of it was loud enough to be distracting. Our portions were generous and worth the price. And even though it was quite busy, our waitstaff was very quick to make sure we were taken care of, even replacing a fork my husband dropped before we asked for another. I would definitely recommend that others to try this place out!

Wow! How did we not know about this place! Great service, clean lovely atmosphere, and spectacular food! The soul sauce has to be homemade, it's dreamy! The onion rings were huge, the collard greens were a huge hit with my husband, and my kids loved their fried shrimp. The seasonal crab soup was so full of meat there was bearly any liquid!!! Exceptional! We will definitely be back!

This food is hands down amazing! Try and see for yourself. Everything we ordered was amazing! Fish fillet dinner which was catfish and 2 sides and fish and shrimp with 2 sides. Yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans, broccoli, tartar sauce and hush puppies were all amazing! Highly recommend. They have 3 doors, if you order carryout in person or over the phone, go to the door with carryout on the door. The first door is so you can be seated and eat in the dining room. They looked busy in the dining room when we stopped by to pickup. Young lady at the (Dell) computer was really nice, she gave people their orders. Another lady was at another cash register, she took people's carryout order. I asked for extra tartar sauce and the young lady gave me 5 packs of tartar sauce. Google maps did not get me there, google maps got me on the left side of the building which was facing route 1. I had to follow other cars that was going on the other side of the building and that's where some parking was available and the 3 front doors and their sign above the doors.
